This site is a tribute to our wonderful wife mum & grandma Sue.

Sue was a true inspiration to all, a remarkable woman who will be hugely missed.

Thank you for donating to Leeds Cares in memory of our mum Sue Baskind. Sue passed away on March 17th 2020 from covid-19 and is very much missed. Our mum was a unique lady. She was a stunning beautiful lady who was loved by everyone who were fortunate to having had contact with her. Throughout her life she genuinely would always put others before herself and was devoted to her husband and family of 4 children, her daughters in law and her 11 grandchildren whilst also being a close and dear friend to many many others. She always made her house welcoming to others and insisted that she would not leave anyone out. In these difficult times we are only too aware of the fantastic pressures on the amazing NHS staff and Leeds Cares does an incredible job raising funds to support the staff and patients at Leeds Hospitals and they need your help more than ever. We are so grateful to the staff at St James' Hospital who could not have been more caring and compassionate to our mum in the most difficult times throughout the last 4  days of her life which were spent in hospital and we would like to help support and give back something in our mums memory. So thank you.
